Organisationsprofil
Die Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler der Fakultät fragen nach individuellen und institutionellen Voraussetzungen, Prozessen und Ergebnissen von Bildung, Entwicklung und sozialer Interaktion. Dabei bilden sowohl Grundlagen- als auch Anwendungsforschung das Fundament einer sich interdisziplinär-kooperativ verstehenden und international anschlussfähigen Bildungs-, Entwicklungs- und Sozialforschung.
Themen
Die Fakultät Bildung fragt nach subjektiven und strukturellen Bedingungen des Lernens und der Bildung, in institutionellen Kontexten ebenso wie in informellen und non-formalen Settings. Im Rahmen der Wissenschaftsinitiative Bildungsforschung untersucht sie Lern-, Bildungs-, Sozialisations- und Entwicklungsprozesse Heranwachsender als zukünftigen Akteuren in einer Zivilgesellschaft angesichts heterogener gesellschaftlicher, familialer und schulischer Lernsituationen. Sie verbindet die Bildungswissenschaften mit den Unterrichtsfächern Deutsch, Mathematik, Englisch, Sachunterricht, Politik, Religion, Kunst, Musik, Sport, Biologie und Chemie sowie der Wirtschafts- und Sozialpädagogik. Beteiligt sind etwa 35 Professorinnen und Professoren mit etwa 115 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern.
