Central task of the German Society for Tourism Science (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Tourismuswissenschaft e.V.) (DGT) is the promotion of tourism science.

We inform and advise universities, companies, politics and society on all important and current tourism issues, we promote tourism research and teaching, we are committed to interdisciplinary knowledge exchange for the benefit of sustainable tourism science.
