The paper presents the participatory approach of the project "Educational Institutions and Sustainable Consumption" (BINK), which aims at developing measures of interventions to promote sustainable consumption amongyouths and yaung adults in educational organisations. It focuses on the analysis of student consumption orientations in the context of sustainable development and global justice and on how these can be changed through participation in BINK project activities. Results from an accompanying empirical study are presented to further investigate these questions raised.
