Die Grundvorstellungen zu Multiplikation und Division sowie die Kenntnis verschiedener Rechenstrategien sind Lernvoraussetzungen für flexibles Multiplizieren und Dividieren. Doch wird erst das Rechnen gelernt und dann flexibilisiert? Nein! Von Beginn an ist beides durch einen reflektierenden und flexiblen Gebrauch gekennzeichnet.
