Organisation profile

As a cen­tral unit of the Leu­pha­na Uni­ver­si­ty of Lüne­burg, the Cen­ter for Ap­p­lied Health Sci­en­ces (ZAG) has been fos­te­ring in­ter­di­sci­pli­na­ry co­ope­ra­ti­on in the health sci­en­ces sin­ce 1992. The Cen­ter is or­ga­ni­zed into the fol­lo­wing sec­tions: Edu­ca­ti­on and Health; Eco­no­mics, Ma­nage­ment and Health; En­vi­ron­ment, Sustaina­bi­li­ty and Health; as well as So­ci­al Me­di­ci­ne, Health So­cio­lo­gy and Health Ser­vices Re­se­arch. ZAG re­se­ar­chers work with other in­sti­tu­ti­ons on a variety of pro­jects in these fields. We also of­fer a range of programs in continuing education.

MindMatters
MindMatters - Mit psychischer Gesundheit gute Schule entwickeln

MindMatters ist ein erprobtes und wissenschaftlich fundiertes Programm zur Förderung der psychischen Gesundheit an Schulen der Primarstufe und Sekundarstufe I und II. MindMatters basiert auf dem Konzept der guten gesunden Schule. Es hilft Schulen dabei, durch die Förderung der psychischen Gesundheit von Schülerinnen, Schülern und Lehrkräften einen Beitrag zur Verbesserung der Schulqualität zu leisten.

 

Wellbeing Game
The Wellbeing Game - Spielend leicht zum Wohlbefinden

Das Projekt „The Wellbeing Game“ befasst sich mit der Entwicklung und Erprobung eines spielerischen Ansatzes zur Förderung des psychischen Wohlbefindens durch digitale Medien. Die Online-Anwendung „The Wellbeing Game“ wurde von der Mental Health Foundation Neuseeland entwickelt und wird im Rahmen des Projekts an deutsche Verhältnisse angepasst. In anschließenden Evaluationsstudien wird der Ansatz hinsichtlich seiner Wirkung in verschieden Settings überprüft. 

 

KLAM
KLAM - Klimaanpassung managen

Das Verbundprojekt „KLAM – Klimaanpassung managen“  ist ein vom Bundesumweltministerium gefördertes Projekt im Rahmen der Deutschen Anpassungsstrategie, das sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, ein Weiterbildungsangebot zur Anpassung an die Folgen des Klimawandels zu entwickeln und durchzuführen.  In Zusammenarbeit mit der Hochschule für Nachhaltige Entwicklung Eberswalde sowie diversu e.V. dem  Institut für Diversity, Natur, Gender und Nachhaltigkeit wurden von Herbst 2017 bis Frühjahr bzw. Sommer 2018 zwei  berufsbegleitende regionale Weiterbildungen erfolgreich durchgeführt: In Brandenburg „Klimaanpassung vermitteln“ für Multiplikator*innen aus dem Bildungsbereich und in der Metropolregion Hamburg „Klimaanpassung mitgestalten“ für Planungsakteur*innen. Hier finden Sie ausführlich das Programm der am ZAG durchgeführten Weiterbildung  „KLAM - Klimaanpassung mitgestalten“.
