Moving beyond the computer technologies the article shows how the virtual plays a role in tourism, for the tourists, and in the spatialization of differences. The virtual as the possible or the imagined maybe real but it does not actually exist. While realizing imaginations, ideas, modells etc. via infrastructures and human actions in spaces the virtualization of tourism spaces takes place: The virtual as a non-place is still present and embedded.
