N2 - Hydration and dehydration of Ca(OH)2 / CaO, CaCl2 • 6 H2O / CaCl2 and MgCl2 • 6 H2O / MgCl2 • 2H2O wereinvestigated as heat storage materials. The reaction rates, released power of the hydrations in dependence on watervapour pressure and the conversion of the dehydration in dependence on heating rate are discussed.
