In this article the authors analyse providers of non-formal education with regard to the topics of their educational opportunities, their target groups, core issues of education for sustainable development (ESD) and their sustainability management. Providers of Global Education are compared to institutions without a background in development policy. Particular attention is given to the subject of biodiversity.
