Beschreibung»Up in Arms« is an exhibition and research project focusing on the structures of the local and international arms industry. Whereas the exhibition showcases critical artistic responses to the industry, the map on the project’s website will together with the art works in public space cast a light on the players involved in the arms industry in Berlin. Guided city tours with a focus on lobbyism will serve to bring the different aspects together. In collaboration with activists and NGO’s the project seeks to create a platform for a critical and much needed discussion about the arms industry’s political and societal position.
