Aligning planning and control processes along a company's internal supply chain with the logistic target variables is a success factor for companies. At the same time numerous challenges such as complexity and ambiguous interactions have to be conquered. Hence at the Institute of Production Systems and Logistics (IFA) a model is developed, which connects the tasks of production planning and control with the logistic target variables in the core processes of the company's internal supply chain.
