This article describes a collaboration between researchers from different universities to develop a university course about digitally enhanced language teaching (DELT). The collaboration, which functions as a community of practice (CoP), and the university course for pre-service teachers of English as a foreign language will be described in the following. The university course was implemented at the universities that took part in the collaboration. In addition to presenting the content modules and learning objectives of the teaching concept, the article also describes evaluation results. This article is a field report and highlights the opportunities and challenges of cross-university collaborations.
