On the basis of a representative survey of n=8.167 teachers from Lower-Saxony, the paper focuses on the perceived stress of teaching in inclusive school settings. By using the dimensions of the sense of coherence, teachers see their inclusive work as very meaningful, but they feel less able to manage activities in regard to “planning” and “teaching”. The correlation between perceived stress and self-efficacy is significant.
