To face the high expansion rates of German seaports during the last years which tend to keep continuously rising, not only terminal expansion, but also a more efficient usage of existing terminals is required. In this project a dynamic load planning method for consolidation of goods in overseas containers which considers upstream processes and their dynamics is developed as well as a packing robotic to improve and fasten container loading in terminals.
