“Sposi, Amici, al ballo, al gioco!”: Brevi cenni di ludicizzazione … del diciottesimo secolo

L’attuale dibattito sulla ludicizzazione si fonda su un assunto problematico. Diversi studiosi, infatti, sostengono che l’influenza del ludico sulla società sia un fenomeno sostanzialmente inedito. Per esempio, Ian Bogost (2011), Zac Fitz-Walter (2012) e Andrzej Marczewski (2013) attribuiscono al programmatore britannico Nick Pelling l’invenzione del termine. Secondo
tali autori, la genesi della ludicizzazione corrisponderebbe al 2002. Joost Raessens ha ripreso e ridefinito il concetto nel 2006, introducendo l’espressione “ludificazione della cultura” per indicare la diffusione della ludologica all’interno della società (Raessens 2006).

Se ci rivolgessimo ad altri esperti, per esempio quelli del Diciottesimo secolo, scopriremmo che il fenomeno ha origini più antiche. La vera, grande rivoluzione ludica risale al 1751, nel bel mezzo del cosiddetto “il secolo del gioco”( Spielesaeculum , Daniel Bernoulli, 1751)
