The article engages with the digitisation of university teaching in the humanities, clarifies conceptual ambiguities and, using examples from literature seminars, discusses how combinations of the factors of synchronicity, types of activities and learning location can contribute to the successful integration of aspects of digitisation in face-to-face seminars.
