Questions of business startup and enterprise follow-up require equally the consideration of legal and economic aspects. Planning games as interdisciplinary teaching and research method are intended to give a problem oriented general survey and to reveal complex effect connections. Used as an active teaching method, skills of logical reasoning and legal and economical competencies are developed and participants are encouraged to consider broader questions. Beyond that the planning game is suitable as research method to examine assumptions and connections within the range of the business startup and enterprise follow-up and to form theories.
