Neue "Umbrüche" für Mehr-Bildungs-Sprachigkeit in der Interkulturellen Sozialisation von Erzieherinnen und Erziehern in Niedersachsen

This article aims to introduce changes in language and intercultural education in
the German federal state of Lower Saxony. lt presents a short theoretical introduction and two empirical studies with kindergarteners and experts in professional and university education. Our analysis shows an imperative to emphasise multilingual and intercultural education, especially because of the big proportion of migrants in Germany. This implication is drawn due to new regulations changing education policies since 2015.
