This chapter focuses on confirmatory factor-multitrait-multimethod (CFA-MTMM) models that can be clearly defined on the basis of stochastic measurement theory. It also focuses on the psychometric properties of the two scales: captivating speaking skills and general leadership skills. The chapter shows how different MTMM models can be described by a specific random experiment, how observed and latent variables can be constructively defined within these random experiments, and how MTMM models can be derived straightforwardly. It presents appropriate MTMM models for structurally different methods, interchangeable methods and the combination of both. The chapter illustrates how the CFA-MTMM models for structurally different methods, interchangeable methods, and a combination of both methods can be extended to longitudinal MTMM measurement designs. It shows how method effects for structurally different (fixed) methods can be defined in a similar way. The chapter also extends the measurement models for a single trait to the analysis of three traits and three methods.
