Die Region San Francisco (SF) erlebt derzeit einen Boom und eine Krise zugleich. Einerseits wächst die Technologie-Wirtschaft, treibt die Top-Einkommen in die Höhe und produziert eine hohe Nachfrage insbesondere nach hochqualifizierten ArbeitnehmerInnen. Andererseits haben ArbeitnehmerInnen und Bildungsträger mit Armut und Finanzproblemen zu kämpfen. In dem turbulenten Verhältnis von Bildung und Beschäft igung erscheint die Region vielen Ansässigen als multiple Krisensituation.
