This paper presents an analytical approach to evaluating monotonic equations with uncertain parameters. The approach is based on fuzzy set theory, where the uncertain parameters are modeled by fuzzy numbers. With this approach, the computational engineer has a practical tool for the inclusion of parameter uncertainties into engineering design computations.
