Shapes of Postmemory – Transgenerationale Erinnerung in postsozialistischer Videokunst

In diesem Beitrag wird das Konzept der „Postmemory“ aus dem Kontext der Holocaustforschung gelöst und als eine imaginative, erzählerische Form der transgenerationalen Erinnerung herausgearbeitet. Mit besonderem Blick auf die traumatische Erinnerung an den Gulag stellt die Kunstwissenschaftlerin Videoarbeiten vor, die die Hybridität der Orte, Stadien und Gestalten von Postmemories an die sozialistische Vergangenheit widerspiegeln.
