This contribution discusses new opportunities of non-goverment-organizations (NGOs) to promote their vision of sustainable development, resulting from the increasing importance and popularity of entrepreneurship. Firstly, we describe the enlargement of their roles including new forms of NGO-business partnership. Secondly, we distinguish between strategies to handle with "global players" and with "local heroes" like entrepreneurs, and thirdly, we discuss processes, functions and structures of partnership to promote sustainable entrepreneurs...
