Pipeline inspection for defect detection requires the use of precise automated vision systems capable of performing both general pipeline reconstruction and detailed identification of defects such as cracks, corrosion, perforations, and oxidation. This work proposes a calibration method for a multi-vision system previous to pipeline scanning. The integrated system combines cameras and a laser scanner, calibrated to merge their point clouds for enhanced accuracy. Experimental results demonstrate an error margin of 1.7704 cm, demonstrating its effectiveness even in low-light conditions.
