N2 - In this article an example of interdisciplinary physics education is introduced, which can be realized with simple materials in the classroom. It is motivated by a well-known US commercial (The Coca-Cola Company 2010): Mr Hill revives Scooter, the rabbit, with the help of two electrically charged balloons. By questioning the plausibility of the commercial, the interest of the students can be aroused. Students can assess the truthfulness of the advertisement by the introduced experiment. This combines two classical physics topics, namely electrostatics and mechanics. © 2019 IOP Publishing Ltd.
