Organisation profile

The Institute of Social Science Education (ISWB) deals in research and teaching with questions of general and vocational education in the context of social transformation processes.

Scientific reference disciplines are mainly economics, political science and sociology. The guiding interest is to investigate in an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary way under which conditions and in which structures the social participation and creative ability of teachers and learners can be promoted.
