Artificial vision methods have been developed to solve different problems or limitations that people with visual disabilities present through applications designed to have greater autonomy. These systems are characterized by giving different kinds of feedback to the user, integrating the system with sensors or cameras that help to know the proximity or existence of an obstacle that obstructs their path. This paper presents an artificial vision method through triangulation with a camera that observes a laser beam reflection in the ground to calculate the surface's height or depth and to offer a haptic response that changes in frequency and amplitude depending on the surface type. In the implementation of the experiment, it has been verified that the system's response is close to the measurement with other measuring devices, warning about irregularity on the surfaces.
