• Firstly, Prof. Dr. Kirchberg will be working on the research project „Arts and artists as agents for social transformations in international contexts."
• Secondly, the aim is to discuss a closer international cooperation between Bifröst University and Leuphana University Lueneburg in research on arts management, cultural sociology and cultural studies. The Department of Social Science and Law at Bifröst University and Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Leuphana University have similar profiles in the area of cultural organisational studies.
• Thirdly, the two departments mentioned above are planning a closer cooperation in teaching international classes (in English) in cultural management, arts management and cultural sociology, including a systematic exchange of students, both on undergraduate and postgraduate level. While Prof. Dr. Kirchberg will stay at Bifröst, this will be discussed in more detail.
