In dieser Arbeit wird eine allgemeine Konstruktionsmethodik für technische Systeme vorgestellt und im Kontext der Softrobotik im Detail untersucht. Die Methodik besteht aus mehreren grundlegenden technischen Konzepten, die so angeordnet sind, dass sie den Konstrukteur Schritt für Schritt durch den Konstruktionsprozess begleiten. Die Wirksamkeit dieser Methodik bei der Schaffung neuer Lösungen in der Softrobotik wird anhand der Konstruktion eines weichen kletterfähigen Roboters sowie eines weichen passiven Greifers veranschaulicht, beide inspiriert vom Gecko.
