The machine-scheduling-problem is treated without assuming that transportation times between machines have to be given constantly or are fully neglected. In the course of planning the material flow constitutively the scheduling of machines should be rather planned simultaneously with the assignment of locations. An exact formulation of this problem is followed by proposals for solving it.
