Gentelligent Components (from genetic and intelligent) are characterized by their insolvable connection between the component itself and information. This is achieved by using the components as an information carrier for information like logistical data. Besides raising the performance of the logistic, the refinement of the business processes is a target. This can be achieved partly by an automation or an omission of processes. The article describes the principles of Gentelligent Components, the expected process improvements and the underlying structure of the data.
