Description

Der interdisziplinäre Schwerpunktbereich "((audio)) Ästhetische Strategien" ist eine eigenständig Abteilung im Institut für Kultur und Ästhetik digitaler Medien (ICAM) an der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg. ((audio)) ist in der Lehre beteiligt am Vertiefungsbereich "Musik und auditive Kultur" im Major Kulturwissenschaften des Leuphana BA, am Minor "Digitale Medien/Kulturinformatik" und am Major "Culture, Arts and Media" des Masterprogramms Arts & Science.

Untersucht werden Fragestellungen im Kontext der digitalen Medien in den Bereichen:

-Technikkultur
-Medienintegration, Interfaces, Oberflächen
-Sampling, Programmsteuerung
-Datennetze als kulturelle Räume

Im Rahmen des Projekts besteht zusätzlich zu den vorhandenen Ressourcen des Rechen- und Medienzentrums der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg ein digitales audioLab (elektronisches Studio), das sowohl für Projektzwecke im engeren Sinne wie auch von Studierenden und regionalen Initiativen genutzt werden kann. In Seminaren, Tutorien und AGs wird im Austausch mit anderen Institutionen und Personen an theoretischen wie praktischen Fragestellungen im Bereich ((audio)) in den elektronischen und digitalen Medien gearbeitet.
