Organisation profile
In der Leuphana Law School haben sich die an der Leuphana tätigen Rechtswissenschaftlerinnen und Rechtswissenschaftler zusammengeschlossen, um in Forschung und Lehre zusammenzuarbeiten. Die Forschung ist dabei im Sinne eines „Recht im Kontext" international und interdisziplinär ausgerichtet und arbeitet an aktuellen gesellschaftlichen Herausforderungen. In der Lehre wird mit dem Modellstudiengang Rechtswissenschaft (Start im Wintersemester 2022/23) erstmals eine Verbindung zwischen der Bachelor-Master-Struktur und der juristischen Staatsprüfung hergestellt. Im Leuphana College tragen wir die Verantwortung für Major und Minor Rechtswissenschaften (Unternehmens- und Wirtschaftsrecht) sowie für den international ausgerichteten Minor Comparative Economic Law. Auch die Programme im Master und das Promotionsprogramm Dr. iur. sind international und interdisziplinär ausgerichtet.

In der Leuphana Law School sind die in der Leuphana tätigen Rechtswissenschaftlerinnen und Rechtswissenschaftler zusammengeschlossen, um die juristischen Studienprogramme der Leuphana zu koordinieren und weiterzuentwickeln. Insbesondere tragen wir im Bachelor-Studium die Verantwortung für den Major Rechtswissenschaften (Unternehmens- und Wirtschaftsrecht), der sich durch eine internationale Ausrichtung und die interdisziplinäre Einbettung in das Leuphana College auszeichnet sowie zugleich die Grundlagen der Rechtswissenschaft auf universitärem Niveau vermittelt. Auch die Programme in den Bereichen Master und Promotion sind international und interdisziplinär aufgestellt.
Mit der Leuphana Law School setzen wir unter den heutigen Rahmenbedingungen den Innovationspfad fort, der am Standort Lüneburg mit der seinerzeit erstmaligen Ausbildung zum Diplom-Wirtschaftsjuristen bereits 1994 eingeschlagen wurde. Die Leuphana Law School ist ein Institut der Fakultät Wirtschaftswissenschaften.
