Geometric Properties on the Perfect Decoupling Disturbance Control in Manufacturing Systems

This paper proposes a control to localize disturbances in manufacturing systems based on a geometric approach. The investigated system is represented by a Multi Input Single Output (MISO) model and a controller is proposed such that a disturbance localisation is obtained. Such kind of localisation problems are very important to minimize errors in manufacturing systems. The main purpose of this work is, starting from a linear model, to show some geometric structural properties to realise a perfect localisation of the vibrations during the milling of a manufacturing phase. The localisation of the vibrations represents a key point in the motion control problems. To realise the proposed controlled strategy an observer is required for estimation of the unmeasurable state variables. Additionally, computer Simulation results are shown.
