N2 - The critique of 'social media' is only beginning. A huge range of effects that 'social media' initiate still can only be guessed. From the mutation of mobile phones into Facebook interfaces to the new lure of objectivity in emerging Doppelgänger sciences, this text addresses some commonly overseen difficulties that we face in our partnership with computers and proposes a new modal operator for file alteration which would safe us from harm.
