The aim of the conference was to find a connection between the gender and sustainability debates on the one hand and those on socio-ecological transformations on the other hand and to establish the prospects for a synthesis. At the same time, the conference was the culmination of the joint “Caring Economy: Transformations of Economics and Politics (TraVo)” research project.
