N2 - In some well-known pages of the Grundrisse, Marx writes: “The theft of alien labour time, on which the present wealth is based, appears a miserable foundation in face of this new one, created by large-scale industry itself.” [1] In the context of the actual crisis, it could be interesting to reflect on the use of this word: “theft” (Diebstahl), that is at the backdrop of the analysis of Marx, not only in the Grundrisse, but in his whole work.
