Description
The impact of autonomous guided vehicles is tested for the emerging
scenario of smart factories. Methods and tools from scheduling
a regular shop floor are evaluated and improved considering cyber
physical systems, AGVs and increasing individualization. Mathematical
formulations as well as new heuristic approaches are tested and
an improvement of the key performance indicators is expected.
