All course modules in the subject “Corporate Environmental Management” as part of the interdisciplinary programme of study in environmental sciences (INFERNUM) of the distance learning university FernUniversität Hagen

In cooperation with the Frauenhofer Institute UMSICHT and the Chair for Environmental Management at the Leuphana University Lüneburg, the FernUniversität Hagen offer a programme of study that will enable students to understand and solve ecological problems in an interdisciplinary fashion, whether as environmental managers or consultants.
As a contribution to this programme of study CSM is coordinating the development of the teaching material and the classroom teaching phase in the subject of environmental management. This involves using a new didactic approach that examines the tasks of environmental management from a number of different institutional perspectives. The subject is offered in 12 course modules and can be completed in two years. Approximately two-thirds of the teaching material is produced by the members of the Institute, with the other third being developed by instructors from other universities.
