Connecting Science, Responsibility and Society

Project: Teaching

Project participants

Description

The goal of the project is to develop and implement a fully virtual seminar with the title "Global Issues in a Global Classroom", which will be offered in the module "Connecting Science, Responsibility and Society" of the Graduate School's Master Complementary Program for students in the third Master semester. The Global Classroom format pursues "Internationalisation@Home" as a dedicated and integral goal. In cooperation with a partner university, Leuphana Master's students will work together with students from the partner university in a Global Classroom to develop and discuss the major international lines and challenges of science in its responsible interaction with society in a comparative manner. With this educational concept, students are to be prepared in particular for international and intercultural cooperation with regard to social problems of the 21st century that can often only be solved inter- and transdisciplinarily.
