Prof. Dr Christian J. Tams works in the areas of public international law and dispute settlement.
His research in these fields focuses on the role of international courts and tribunals and the protection of international investments.
In addition to his academic work, Professor Tams advises governments, investors and international organisations on matters of international law. In that role, he regularly participates in proceedings before national and international courts and before arbitral tribunals.
