Philipp Sandermann is a Professor of Social Pedagogy in the Institute of Social Work and Social Education at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg. His fields of interest include (comparative) research on Western welfare systems, epistemological research on social pedagogy, ombuds offices for child and youth care services, unaccompanied minor refugees, and research on social spaces of families.
