The team of the chair of Social Pedagogy conducts empirical and theory-generating research in the following areas:
- Child and youth welfare research (with a special interest in ombuds offices and complaint services and social space approaches),
- Refugee family studies,
- Subjectivation and discourse analysis,
- Theories of social pedagogy and social work,
- Trust research.
Our teaching is also based on these focal points.
