The paper was submitted to the subtheme 11 Digital Capitalism: Grappling with Silicon Valley. We present how the restaurant sector in the city of Linz in Upper Austria as a typical case of a traditional industry ecosystem consisting mostly of SMEs was impacted by the market entry of digital food delivery platforms.
