Um die Erziehungskompetenz der Eltern zu stärken, wächst das Angebot an Erziehungs hilfen. Neben den institutionellen Beratungs- und Unterstützungsformen, die von Jugend ämtern, Familienbildungsstätten, Elternschulen, Einrichtungen der Erwachse nenbildung, Beratungsstellen, Kindertagesstätten, Schulen etc. angeboten werden, und den selbsthilfe orientierte Formen (Selbsthilfegruppen, Vereine etc.) werden die Medien immer mehr als Plattform für die Beratung und Unterstützung von Eltern genutzt.
