Funding Information:
2. The ARITHMUS project is an interdisciplinary research project on methodological changes in population statistics that has been funded by the European Research Council. The project PI is Professor Evelyn Ruppert (Goldsmiths, University of London) and involves a team of four post-doctoral researchers (Baki Cakici, Francisca Grommé, Stephan Scheel, and Funda Ustek-Spilda) and one doctoral researcher (Ville Takala). The workshop was held in March 2017 at the Tate Exchange in London in the context of the programme ‘Who are we?’ (see: https://www.tate.org.uk/ whats-on/tate-modern/tate-exchange/workshop/who-are-we (accessed 18 January 2018).
