Beschreibung

There is a pressing issue for an update of academic citation management for transmedia publishing that is backwards compatible with analogue/print media, as the disappearance of the fixed page in digital books undermines the once stable and reliable use of page numbers in citation. With the introduction of new media types into the digital book, there is a need to specify points in media (in a video, game sequence or social graph), which is currently not being addressed (see HPC 2013, esp. discussion of Matterhorn as best practice).
