The design of a Clean Development Mechanism project is a complex process involving the survey, analysis, supply and control of site-specific physical and monetary environmental information to meet registration, monitoring, and reporting requirements. Such information can be provided by Environmental Management Accounting, yet to date such accounting has not been referred to in the discussion of Clean Development Mechanism projects.
