"Informative instruments such as classification of electric Power according §42 Energy Economy Law (EEG) or the obligation for the active distribution of environmental information according to § 10 Environmental Information Act (UIG) increasingly are presented in the environmental political instrument-mix. A dismantling of the deficit of the achievement of objective is expected by both. Based an the development of a comprehensive set of evaluation criteria, among other things, the author of the contribution under consideration addresses the following questions: How are these two instruments to be evaluated regarding to their efficiency in environmental protection? Are informative instruments actually suitable for the dismantling of the reached achievement of objective deficit, or do they work rather enhancing?"
