Project: Research

Project participants

Description

The aim of the binational co-operation project is to provide students of geoinformatics at Czech TU in Prague with competencies in environmental communication and nature protection while applying GIS technology. Within three years, the following sub-goals are to be achieved: Development and testing of a project-oriented contribution to the Master course curriculum and realisation of study trips for Czech participants to Germany in order to initiate expertise in communication methodologies with regard to nature protection. In the long run, this new field of activity shall be tailored to fit into already existing course offers at Czech TU in Prague - be it as a new area of specialisation or as a module of continuing education.
