Continuation of my research project on the significance of arts and culture for urban development: This research project compares the different significance of the arts for urban development a) in Baltimore between 1988, 2004 and 2010, and b) in Baltimore and Hamburg between 2004 and 2013. In New York, I concluded my empiricial analysis and wrote draft papers about the this comparison. These papers are the basis for several publications in the next months and for an English monograph with the working title "Art for City's Sake" that links the empirical data with a comprehensive theoretical framework.
